Summary
Předmět je důležitým vstupem do problematiky rapidprototypingu. Studenti si osvojí základní terminologii v metrologii, základní principy měření, základy zpracování dat. Rozvíjí se zde metodika kontaktních i bezkontaktních měření, hodnocení drsnosti povrchu,kontroly parametrů vybraných strojních součástí. Teoretické poznatky jsou prakticky ověřovány na cvičeních v laboratoři.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Studenti budou navštěvovat přednášky a praktická cvičení, ze kterých potom zpracují předepsané programy a absolvují test, na základě čehož získají zápočet. Zkouška bude písemná, formou testu v aplikaci LMS.

Subject syllabus:
1-2. Introduction to metrology, errors and uncertainties of measurement, basic statistical processing of measured values
3-4. Basic Gauges and Measuring Machines - Types, Principles, Uses in Design
5-6. Surface roughness and topography of produced surface (definitions, measurement methods, 2D and 3D roughness)
7-8. Geometric deviations of position and shape (definitions, control methods, gauges)
9-10. Coordinate measuring machines (contact, optical, methods and ways of measurement)
11-12. Computer support for measurements, CT tomography, optical and laser gauges and machines
13. Basic concepts in quality management and its definition according to ISO standard, Basic tools and quality management systems
