Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In this course, students develop knowledge of the fundamentals of metrology, familiar with the basic legal document in the field of Metrology - Metrology Act, as amended by Act No. 119/2000 Coll. Learn to develop and apply knowledge from the baseline parameters of machine parts on specific tasks. Familiar with ISO 9001 and learn how to apply the tools of quality management in practice. They will be able to statistically evaluate the measured data .- express the uncertainty of measurement, the measurement result and the basic concepts of quality management and the use of statistical methods in quality control.

Summary

The subject belongs to a group of professional předmětů.Studenti learn the basic terminology in metrology and quality control. An integral part of teaching are chapters devoted to automating the measurement process and measurement of coordinate measuring machines. The teaching of the passages relating to the fundamentals of quality management and use of statistical methods in quality control. Theoretical findings are verified in practical exercises in laboratory.
