Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
After completing the course students will master the fundamentals of engineering metrology. As an example, measurement of lengths, sizes and manipulating the metering equipment.

Summary
The subject belongs to a group of subjects. Students will learn
Basic terminology in metrology, fundamental principles of measurement, basic
data processing. Develops in-depth methodology for measuring length, angle, shape and position deviations, surface roughness evaluation, control parameters of the selected machine
components. Course includes a chapter on the measurement třísořadnicových measuring machines. Theoretical findings are verified in practical exercises in laboratory.

Lesson 1: Introduction, basic acquaintance with the program and organization
training, safety training for working with equipment in the laboratory
Exercise No.2-4: Introduction to various tasks, basic data processing
Exercise No.5-13: Measurement Task No. 1 to 9, including a protocol for measuring
Lesson 14: Completion of reports, consultation on memorized substance, credit.
