Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject is connecting with lessons Technology of Machining, Machining - subjects what are interested about machining (turning, milling, drilling, and so on.) The subject extends knowledge about technological process creation and programming CNC machines tools. It will be used special software for CAM system (CAM - Computer-Aided Manufacturing). The names of the software are Mastercam and EdgeCAM. This subject is for V. semester of bachelor study, specialization mechanical technology. Students will study theory and practice of machining technology (turning, 2.5 axis milling, , drilling) by means of CAD/CAM system Mastercam or EdgeCAM. Contents of this subject including: creation and edition of CAD geometry, beginning cutting conditions, creation of technological process (strategy of cutting, setting cutting tools, instruction - G, M code etc.), cutting simulation, NC code generation for particular cutting machine.

Summary

Předmět navazuje na výuku předmětů zabývajících se technologiemi obrábění. Je určen pro třetí ročník prezenčního bakalářského studia, obor strojírenská technologie. Zaměřuje se na rozšíření znalostí v oblastech tvorby technologických postupů a programování NC obráběcích strojů, pro které využívá speciálních softwarů tzv. CAD/CAM systémů. Studenti budou seznámeni s možnostmi a uplatnění CAD/CAM systému v praxi a základními postupy výroby součásti pomocí CAD/CAM systémů. Předmět je zaměřen na aplikaci CAD/CAM systémů pro soustružení, vrtání, 2.5 osé frézování. Obsah předmětu zahrnuje tvorbu a úpravu geometrie vyráběné součásti, nastavení počátečních podmínek obrábění, sestavení postupu obrábění, simulaci obrábění a následné vygenerování NC kódu pro příslušný obráběcí stroj.
