Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will be familiarized with the theory of machining. This subject includes an analysis study of chip forming, of power ratios, of cutting process stability, of thermal effects, of the wear edge of tools, of durability, tool life of materials, and of the optimisation of cutting process.

Summary

The theory includes an analysis of cutting mechanism study the formation of chips dynamic cutting process and the associated stability assessment of cutting process. This subject includes the bases of integreated machining, too.

The program of lectures Week lectures A process of cutting and technological system. 2 Basic characteristics of chip formation mechanism. 3 power and cutting work. 4 The stability of the cutting process. 5 Warm temperatures and cutting. 6 blade cutting tool wear. 7 durability and tool life. 8 parameters of the cutting process and cutting geometry. Stress and strain states. Optimization of cutting conditions 9 Optimizing Performance- electric machine, the size of torque. Optimization of cutting conditions 10 Optimization of strength machine tools and in terms of proper chip formation. Optimizer accuracy and quality surface finish. Optimization of cutting conditions, 11 - 3 Optimization under Machining rustiness and used cutting environment. Areas of admissible solutions with high cutting conditions. The procedure for determining optimal cutting conditions. Optimization of cutting conditions, 12 - 4 Calculation of optimum tool life výrobnosti in terms of maximum and minimum cost. 13 Adaptive optimization. 14 Reliability and diagnosis of technological systems of machines - workpiece - tool.
