Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Develop knowledge of the fundamentals of metrology, to meet the basic legal document in the field of Metrology - Metrology Act, as amended by Act No. 119/2000. Develop and apply knowledge from the baseline parameters of machine parts on specific tasks. Statistically evaluate the measured data .- express the uncertainty of measurement, the measurement result.

Summary

The subject belongs to a group of professional courses, which links to articles Mathematics and statistics. Students will learn the basic terminology in metrology, fundamental principles of measurement, basic data processing. Develops in-depth methodology for measuring length, plane angle, surface roughness evaluation, monitoring of selected parameters of machine parts. Theoretical findings are verified in practical exercises in the laboratory. Introduction - the importance of metrology in quality management system, the basic concepts. Act 119/2000 Coll. - Metrology. Institutions engaged in metrology Republic, their basic tasks. Evaluation of measurement results, measurement error, measurement uncertainty. Length metrology, units, gauge blocks, gauges. Interference of light, its applications in metrology. Metrology plane angle, units, standards, use trigonometric functions in the control angle. Measurements of vertical and horizontal position. Measurement of cones. Measuring screw threads - Methods, gauges. Measurement of gears - methods meter. Variations in shape, position - definition, methods. Measurement of surface roughness - parameters, methods, measuring instruments. Measurement of large scale and small holes - methods meter. Coordinate measuring apparatus - principles, types, measurement strategies. Metrology Laboratory.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Paced and defense of the Protocol on the role of measurements within 2 weeks after measuring. Based on the protocol submitted to individual programs and their students are allocated to defense scores 6 points / program. Scoring: CREDIT Submission and defense of 7 programs ........... 0-5 points / program. Total credit for up to ............... 35 points. Minimum score required for passing ........ 18 points. Subject syllabus:

The program of lectures: 1. The importance of metrology, national metrology system, the basic concepts of metrology. 2. SI unit system, the Law on Metrology, measuring devices division, an institution engaged in metrology. 3. State merologická checking gauges, wiring connection. 4. Errors and uncertainty. 5. Principles of gauges - mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, ... 6. Metrology length - basic length scales, standards of length, gage blocks. 7. Interference of light and its applications in metrology, 8. Metrology plane angle, using the trigonometric functions in the control plane angle. 9. Checking the threads, control gears. 10. Check conical surfaces, control svilé and horizontal position. 11. Control surface finish - surface roughness. 12. Variations of shape and position. 13. Coordinate Measuring Machines. 14. Requirements for metrological laboratories. Syllabus Exercises: 1. Exercise - home exercises to introduce students to the program and the organization of training, safety training for work standeth in the laboratory. 2. Exercise - practical examples of the work is essential gauges (caliper, micrometer, gauge, gage blocks,...). 3. exercises - the basis of evaluation results - practice. 4. - 11 Exercise - measurement of seven tasks, including development of protocols for measuring. 12. Exercise - recovery of missing jobs 13. Exercise - Final written test. 14. Exercise - Graded credit. List of measurement tasks: 1. task - control aggression sweat. 2. role - direct and indirect method of measurement. 3rd task - control of dimensional accuracy of holes. 4. task - control cones. 5. task - check the thread. 6. task - Check roller (flat gauge). 7. task - roughness.
