Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The completion of this course in deepening their knowledge in the areas of machining, metrology and assembly. Can you classify the different ways of working and forming processes in measuring the basic parameters of Engineering and values and focus on simple assembly.

Summary
Technology of Machining is one of the basic full-time undergraduate degree courses in all disciplines at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Includes advanced fundamentals of machining, metrology and assembly for the understanding of product design in relation to technological aspects and to obtain the most basic concepts of manufacturing technology components of the basic methods of control and measurement of machine parts and methods of installation of machinery and equipment.

The program of lectures:
1st Introductory lecture, plan of lectures, scoring, recommended literature.
2nd General terms, basics of metrology, measurement errors, roughness parameters and their measurement.
3rd Terminology, methods of cutting distribution, description cutting tool, movements in machining, tool angles and plane.
4th Production and chip forming, heat and temperature during machining, heat balance cutting environment.
5th Wear edge tools, durability and tool life, Taylor relationship, rustiness tools, machinability materials.
6th Tool materials (tool steel, cemented carbides, cutting ceramics, cermets, cubic boron nitride, diamond).
7th Manufacturing process, elections bases, sequence of operations technological construction, types and methods of assembly.
8th Turning basic concepts, turning forces, turning tools, signage holders and inserts ISO, taper turning, turning, clamping of the workpiece toolholder.
9th Cutting, types of milling, climb and conventional milling, milling forces, cutting tools, milling machines, accessories milling, dividing heads, tools, clamping workpieces.
10th Drill, drilling forces, tools for drilling, core-drilling, reaming, countersinking, drilling, boring.
11th Planning, shaping, drawing, extruding, machinery and tools on this operations division of materials.
12th Grinding, strengths for grinding, type grinding, machines and tools sanding, finishing method of cutting – honing, lapping, finishing.
13th Thread manufacturing, production of gears, production of conus methods, principles.
