Summary
This subject includes an analysis study of cutting properties of tools and of the machinability of workpiece materials. In another part of the subject is applications of acquired information and regularities for all methods of machining in extreme conditions during the special production of shapes and free formed surface, production of holes, threaded surfaces , etc. An integral part of this course is an analysis of the possibilities and advantages of machining on flexible production systems, robotic technological workplaces and inflexible production lines. The subject also focuses on advanced and progressive machining methods such as high-speed and high-speed machining and the fundamentals of unconventional machining methods.
Compulsory literature:
Recommended literature:
Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Exercises: Students' knowledge is continuously verified in exercises through projects (individual projects on a given topic) and tests.
Oral exam: students take a test and, upon successful completion, continue with an oral exam, where they draw two questions and, after successfully answering them, obtain the necessary points.
