Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to gain theoretical and practical experience with modeling and design in professional CAD software SOLIDWORKS. Within the course, students will learn the basics of modeling parts and assemblies, creating drawings, data management, design welded and sheet metal parts and the basics of FEM analysis.

Summary
Cílem předmětu je získat teoretické a praktické zkušenosti s modelováním a konstruováním v profesionálním CAD software SOLIDWORKS. V rámci předmětu se studenti naučí základy modelování dílů a sestav, tvorbu výkresů, správu dat, konstruovat svařované a plechové díly a základy pevnostních simulací.
