Summary
This subject is fundamental one to subjects that deal with standards and technical product documentation. Students will acquire basic knowledge of standardization, production and reading of technical drawings, imagery, dimensioning, tolerances of machine parts and record in title blocks, signification of surface quality, signification of glued, soldered and welded joints. The emphasis is placed on self-reliant creative technical thought during individual school assignment on tutorial. The aim of this subject isa formation of skilled student character to be able to use basic knowledge in next technical subjects and technical profession in drawing-office, design-office or in manufacturing.

Subject syllabus:
1. Normalization (standards and their classification according to CSN and ICS). Drawings (Engineering drawings, technical drawings, distribution, formats and editing drawing sheets, Title blocks, lists of text data items, repairs and changes the drawings.).
2. Displaying the technical drawings (rectangular projection, projection, lines, scale, font). The choice and number of images.
3. Drawing image components. Views, sections and cross sections, its labeling. Types cuts, drawing away.
4. Dimensioning, basic concepts, writing dimensions. Systems dimensions, dimensions of shape elements of machine parts.
5. Tolerance of dimensions, the basic concepts of matching, a uniform system of writing deviations in the drawings, tolerance angles. Basics calculations dimensional circuits. Preferred numbers and a normal size. Prescription of surface treatment and thermal processing.
6. The quality of surface roughness assessment, marking roughness on the drawings.
7. Geometric tolerances. Tolerating cones.
8. Division of connecting parts. Screw connection (pitch, pitch, division, screws, nuts, washers) their display (normal, simplified, schematic) and dimensioning. Cres-Leni and thread dimensions. Tolerances, roughness.
9. Machine parts (feathers, wedges, pins, pins, springs), their distribution, imaging and Koto-tion.
10. Transfers (basic concepts, distribution, display). Drawing pulleys and sprocket.
11. Gears (division, basic concepts, basic dimensions, basic calculations for the front straight and helical gears, bevel to direct). Drawing gears, dimension, filling a corner of the stamp, display gearing.
12. Bearings (sliding, rolling), basic types, according to the catalog designation, drawing, insurance and the bearing seal area.
13. Shafts and axes. Basic rules, drawing shafts and axes, drawing shapes details on the shafts.
14. Permanent connection (connection riveting, welding, soldering and gluing). Basic concepts, classification, drawing, marking the drawings.
15. Pipes and fittings. The distribution, basic concepts, drawing, imaging.
