Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This object continues on ČaMSI. All at once it uses student’s knowledge of the Mechanics, the Elasticity and Strength and the Engineering Materials. The aim is the better knowledge of the execution and function of basic machine parts and mechanisms which were solved in ČaMS. Their design and loading capacity is executed on higher technical level including dynamic and basic fatigue calculations.

Subject syllabus:

1. Principles of strain gauges (sensors, positioning and connection of sensors according to measured values) quantities, instruments). 2. Processing of measurement results. 3. Design and implementation including verification. 4. Vibration and noise measurement (vibration sensors, noise measurement, analysis of results measurement). 5. Other measuring methods (speed measurement, transmission errors, machine testing). 6. Other experimental methods related to the topic of doctoral thesis.
