Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The main objective of the course is to teach Computer Science students to think of a computer in a way to use computer technology for the purpose of studies and in engineering practice. Another objective is the active use of computer networks FSNET and Internet / Intranet, as well as mastering an advanced text and graphics, spreadsheet and presentation programs used on the FS. After completing the course students should be able to use advanced tools for editing text (styles, automatic content, automatic numbering of images, ...), processing and presentation of data in a spreadsheet, using mathematics, logic and database functions (TREND, LINEST, IF, SELECT , Inversion, MMULT, ...). At the same time, students will be able to make a presentation on the need for defense. An important part of this course is the application of specific technical problems in the learning environment and focus on the ability of independent solutions of the subject and grasp of the issues.
