Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The main aim of the subject Automatic Control III is to introduce to students with analysis and synthesis of SISO linear continuous and discrete complex systems and analysis of simple nonlinear control systems.

Summary

SISO complex control systems (cascade control, Smith predictor, IMC). Mathematical models of nonlinear systems. Basic nonlinearities. Static analysis of nonlinear systems. Method of the state (phase) plane, singularities, Lyapunov stability. Two- and three position control.

Subject syllabus:

Complex control systems. Basic types of nonlinearities. Analysis of interconnection of static nonlinear elements. Nonlinear SISO control systems. Method of state (phase) plane. Two-position and tree-position control.
