Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The main aim is to teach students to focus on the methods and means of sensors and control systems with emphasis on aeronautical engineering, design and solve sub-tasks associated with the design and assessment of measurement and control chain, according to the particular specification, design and implement practical given the experimental task in the teamwork .
The second aim is to analyze the current state of implementation of instrumentation for measurement and control systems. After completing the course students should be able to formulate principles of typical sensors and diagnostic systems, aircraft, analyze its structure, to explain the nature of the function of individual components, converters, control units, to assess their current development and to predict further development of measurement, sensor and control technologies and aircraft resources.
An important part of the course is covered separately semester project in which students use their theoretical knowledge related to the design of measuring and control chain subsystem aircraft design and critically assess the resulting solution in terms of accuracy, quality management, feasibility, and other specific criteria.

Summary
The course is a wider application base bachelor's degree in engineering and software systems of measurement, diagnosis and management and their application in the field of aviation technology. A prerequisite is completion of study subjects of common three semester basis. The goal is to teach students to focus on the methods and means of sensors and control systems, design and solve sub-tasks associated with the design of the measuring and control chain of the aircraft by a specific assignment, to design and implement practical given the experimental task in the teamwork. Another aim is to analyze the current state of implementation of instrumentation for measurement, control and diagnostics systems, aerospace systems. The course provides an overview of the current status of used vehicle information and control systems, aircraft systems, including GPWS, TCAS, INS, FADEC, FMS and FBW. It focuses on the description of hierarchical structures of information and control systems, civil and military aircraft and links between them.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
An important part of the course is covered separately semester project in which students use their theoretical knowledge related to the design of measuring and control chain subsystem aircraft design and critically assess the resulting solution in terms of accuracy, quality management, feasibility, and other specific criteria.
The criteria for achieving the prerequisites are as follows:
- Processing 3 protocols of experimental tasks in the laboratory.
- Design, consultation and treatment semester project from the design of the measuring chain control the aircraft by a specific assignment.
E-learning
Teaching is conducted with the support of e-learning at http://vyuka.fs.vsb.cz/ - Course Control Systems aircraft.
Other requirements
In the course students learn about experimental laboratory tasks where three protocols from exercises will be outputs. In addition each student will elaborate semestral project on theme of the measuring and control chain subsystem aircraft design.
For successful graduation of the course the active participation in exercise and lectures is also required.
Prerequisities
Subject has no prerequisities.
Co-requisities
Subject has no co-requisities.
Subject syllabus:
Subject Control Systems aircraft is divided into an analytical and information-synthetic and experimentally, the two areas linked to each other for practical exercises in the laboratory and design project of semester. In the theoretical part of the course, students become familiar with the presentations by subject matter discussed, and subsequently applied in experimental and design exercises.
The main objective of the course control systems of aircraft is to teach students to focus on the methods and means of sensors and control systems with emphasis on aeronautical engineering, design and solve sub-tasks associated with the design and assessment of measurement and control chain, according to the particular specification, design and implement practical given the experimental task in in teamwork.
The second aim is to analyze the current state of implementation of instrumentation for measurement and control systems. After completing the course students should be able to formulate principles of typical sensors and diagnostic systems, aircraft, analyze its structure, to explain the nature of the function of individual components, converters, control units, to assess their current development and to predict further development of measurement, sensor and control technologies and air grain resources.
