Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course aims to familiarize students with testing electronic control units, sensors and actuators and vehicle diagnostics. To understand the management function will be explained the basic principles of function units and the relevant regulations, be familiar with the diagnosis. Students learn to use the VAG Diagnostic and work with the oscilloscope Autoskop II, which is intended to diagnose car.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Hlavním cílem předmětu je naučit studenty orientaci v metodách a prostředcích senzorových a řídicích systémů s důrazem na leteckou techniku, navrhovat a řešit dílčí úlohy spojené s návrhem a posouzením měřicího a řídicího řetězce podle konkrétního zadání, navrhovat a realizovat zadané experimentální praktické úlohy v při týmové spolupráci. Druhým cílem předmětu je analýza současného stavu instrumentace pro realizaci měřicích a řídicích systémů. Po absolvování předmětu by student měl být schopen formulovat principy činnosti typických senzorových a diagnostických systémů letadel, analyzovat jejich strukturu, vysvětlit podstatu funkce jednotlivých komponent, převodníků a řídicích podsystémů, zhodnotit jejich dosavadní vývoj a predikovat další vývoj měřicích, senzorových a řídicích technologií obilních a leteckých prostředků . Důležitou součástí předmětu je samostatně zpracovávaný Semestrální projekt, v němž studenti využijí teoretické znalosti spojené s návrhem měřicího a řídicího řetězce subsystému letadla, navrhnou a kriticky posoudí výsledné řešení z pohledu přesnosti, kvality řízení, realizovatelnosti a dalších konkrétních kritérií. Control is provided by e-learning. Students are required to submit at the end result of their work practice.

Subject syllabus:

The course will focus on acquainting students with the testing of electronic control units, sensors and actuators car. To understand the management function will be explained the basic principles of function units and the relevant regulations, be familiar with the diagnosis. Lectures are as follows: 1st Car Diagnostics • Serial • Parallel • Vibrodiagnostics • Tribodiagnostics 2nd The importance of electronics in the car • Description ABS • Description ASR • Description of ESP • Operation and diagnosis of major sensors (speed sensor, position, pressure, gas, ...) 3rd CAN bus and its importance for diagnosis • CAN and LIN bus, switching and control protocols for data transmission • Control unit in the car, their functions and connections 4th Description and options tester VAG 5th Bus diagnostics with the use of software PCAN Explorer 6th Diagnosis of ABS, ASR and ESP 7th Parallel diagnosis • AUTOSKOP II - Description, measurement 8th Measurement • lambda • injection and ignition • Throttle potentiometer • Camshaft position 9th Comfort system, door controller, alarm and central locking. 10th Vibrodiagnostics, Tribodiagnostics
