Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course is designed for students third-year undergraduate degree and is the first of two that serves as supervising the creation of undergraduate students' works. The goal is to instill in students the habits necessary for creating large-scale projects so that they were able to efficiently organize their work, partial phases of the project plan, evaluate results, propose solutions and many others advocate a particular proposed procedures and results.

The subject is part of the application part of the Bachelor's degree program.
The subject is the first part of individual work and realization bachelor thesis. The goal is to prepare the student for an independent creative work, systematic information retrieval, processing and archiving.
The results of their work will be submitted in writing form and defended.

The student must prepare a presentation of the results and the text part of the project, which are presented before the committee.

Subject syllabus:
1. Understanding the challenges and the course content, course credit system, the processing dates.
2. Bachelor\'s role and importance of the project. Methodology of research and development work.
3. Information sources and work with (magazines, books, textbooks, electronic media, internet). Methodology of technical reports. Marking of measuring and control circuits according to DIN 1918 060th
4. Citations of publications by the ISO and IEC standards.
5. Search for sources of information (research, electronic media, the Internet, the patent literature).
6. Recommended marking variables, and abbreviations in automation and informatics.
7. Quote internet sources according to ISO and IEC standards.
8. Advanced forms of multimedia presentation projects using DVDs, videos and interactive audiovisual presentations on the Internet.
9. Individual solutions to a given topic according to specification.
