Summary

The course is designed for students of the first year of master's study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. After completing this subject the student should have a more detailed knowledge of the technical means used in control circuits and monitoring, configuration and control systems. It is an extension of the knowledge of students acquired in the subject "Automation Technology" in the bachelor study. Part of the course is devoted to the processing of el. signals in control circuits.

Measurement and evaluation circuits for processing signals from sensors (analog and digital circuits, filtering, compensation, linearization). 4. System, analog-digital (A / D) and D / A converters, units in contact with the environment (structure, properties, connected to a microprocessor, PLC and IPC) 5. Sensors and methods for measuring mechanical power variables (position, size, displacement, speed, velocity, acceleration, force, torque, vibration). 6. Sensors and methods for measuring temperature and heat (principles, characteristics of thermometers, contact and contactless readers, implementation and participation, examples of applications). 7. Sensors and methods for measuring pressure and flow rate (gases, liquids, bulk materials), level of liquids and solids, and other selected variables .. 8. Sensors and methods of measurement of physical and chemical properties of materials (sensor for concentration of gases, liquids, conductivity, pH, refractive index, etc.). 9. Circuit for processing signals from sensors - evaluation circuits for measurement of selected physical quantities (voltage amplifiers, resistance, capacitance, frequency, ...). 10. Computer measurement and diagnostic systems, IMC, IPC. 11. New physical principles of sensors. Intelligent sensor systems (structure type, which connect to the sensor nodes, Ilan and WiLAN examples). 12.
