Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student is able to create a mathematical model of the real system different physical structure. He/she is able to assess the advantages of the analytical and experimental identification methods and to decide about their use. Student is able to sub-divide the system into the subsystems and design their identification. The created mathematical model is able to realize using the simulation programme.

Summary

The content of this subject are the analytical and experimental methods of the creating of the mathematical model of the dynamic system. The lectures are focused on the principles of the mathematical-physical modelling of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal systems. In the frame of the experimental methods the methods based on the use of deterministic and random signals are taught. The methods for the evaluation of the transfer functions, impulse response and Bode plots are explained, next the stochastic approach for the system identification and identification of the discrete models in form ARMAX are introduced.
