The aim is to gain knowledge and skills in dealing with management techniques both in hardware (sensors, actuators, unification modules, control systems), and the software (configuration software for this technology).

Summary

The structure and characteristics of control systems, their hierarchical structure, means for acquiring information (sensors, standardized signals,..), means for transforming information (operational amplifiers, system converters, A/D converters), means for transmitting information. Means for information processing (properties of controllers, implementation of compact digital controllers). Means for logical control (PLC), devices for display and mapping of information (numerical displays, operator’s stands). Means for information using in control-drives, actuators (pneumatical, hydraulic, electrical and their control). The modern methods and means for measuring and control (Industrial PC). Program aided design of control systems, connecting control systems to manufacturing processes (methods, properties), computer integrated systems

Subject syllabus:

1. Understanding the challenges and the content of the studied subject. Allocation of funds for automatic control and their characteristics (software and hardware). Management system, hierarchical structure, the main functional properties. 2. Overview of sensors. 3. Overview of the actuators. 4. Industrial netwoks, basic types, 7 layer model, physical layer .... application layer. 5 Wireless network configuration of access points and configure the AD-Hoc connection control systems for technological process (ILAN, LAN, WLAN). Sample lab report. 6. DC link communication I2C, SPI, ... . 7. SCADA / HMI systems, their properties and use in a hierarchical management structure. 8. Distributed control systems and solutions to teamwork and ability to execute a system engineer. 9. Smart sensors to their internal structure and description of implementation. 10. Description of the higher ranks of single-chip computer, the description of selected modules. 11. Programming of single-chip computers with higher programming language. 12. Procedures for tuning the dsigned algorithms directly to the real task. 13. CIM Computer Integrated Systems CAD-CAM-CAP-CAQ-PPS.
