Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course Measurement and sensors is to teach students orientation in the environment of sensor and control systems, design and solve partial tasks associated with the design and assessment of measuring and control chain, design and implement experimental practical tasks in team cooperation.
After completing the course, the student should be able to formulate the principles of operation of typical sensor and diagnostic systems, analyze their structure, explain the nature of the function of individual components, transducers and control subsystems, evaluate their current development and predict further development of measurement and control technologies.
