Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course is part of the departmental master's degree and focuses on the final stage of elaboration of the thesis. Students will learn to create technical documentation, presentation and standards for the processing of citations and references, or the text itself.

Extending the methodology of scientific-research work and the processing and publication of results. Search for sources of information (research, electronic media, the Internet, the patent literature). The methodology for creating and processing of scientific and technological projects. Recommended marking variables, and abbreviations in automation and informatics. Quote internet sources according to ISO and IEC standards. Advanced forms of multimedia presentation projects using DVDs, videos and interactive presentations on the Internet.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Regular consultation of the project solution with the supervisor of the diploma thesis (part of the solution) and the instructor (formal part of project). Student has to prepare project and its evaluation.
