Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will be able to describe the principles by means of measuring cards, characterizing distributed systems management. They will be able to experiment with probe cards, modify their settings and then learn to identify the measured data.

Summary

The course will focus on the computer measurement of physical and logical variables in real time. Students will process laboratory measurement data in real time, with the use of the office software.

Subject syllabus:

1. Automating tasks in MS Office 2. Principles of data acquisition boards and their programming. 3. Way of storing numbers in a computer, the accuracy and range of data types. 4. Creating user interface. 5. Dynamic user interface changes. 6. Development of heterogeneous applications, connecting the driver card using ActiveX, COM,. NET DLL. 7. Synchronous and asynchronous data reading in real time, external and internal timing in the program. 8. Storing data in a computer, programming data save and reading large data files. 9. The accuracy of mathematical operations in floating point, basic algorithms.
