Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Development trends in computer integrated manufacturing systems. Characteristic and properties of subsystems, technical and program means of distributed control systems in computer networks. Program systems SCADA/HMI. Reliability, assurance, technical diagnostics. Quality control and management. Examples of applications in selected parts of industry.

Summary
Basic terminology, principles, concepts and structure of the multi- level architectures for machine-technology-manufacturing control systems will be discussed. Furthermore, the operator's workplace in the supervisory systems, the desig and development of applications for supervisory control and the human-machine interface will be addressed. It also includes following the standards for the control system design and standards for the process of integrating the production and technological processes control and intelligent electronic devices in accordance with internationally accepted standars.

Trends in computer- integrated manufacturing systems. Characteristics of subsystems , software and hardware . Distributed control systems in industrial networks. Software systems for supervisory control of technology, production control and management tools integrated into distributed control systems with human-machine interface ( SCADA / HMI) . Reliability and ways of its improvement , technical diagnostics . Elements of quality management . Examples of applications in selected industrial fields.
