Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with intelligent sensor systems used in distributed control systems (intelligent sensors and actuators). Next aim of the course is to acquaint students with technical and software equipment of intelligent instrumentation, its internal structure, properties, …. Creating a sensor network using building elements for intelligent sensors. Introduction to communication interface of intelligent instrumentation (industrial networks ILAN RS 485, CAN, AS-i, between perimeter communication I2C, SPI and WLAN). Practical examples and description of current development and application of intelligent instrumentation in IoT and industry 4.0 are part of the course.
