Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The main objective is to teach Ph.D. students the basic principles of process system design under conditions for the system operation in terms of production and technological processes. Ph.D. students should understand the design and implementation of process system technical means according to specifications given for operation and implementation of process systems.

Summary

HMI and visualization of KPI and production data model (standards for equipment, product, work orders, material, personnel models). Real-time equipment performance, reliability and condition based (predictive) maintenance, downtime tracking and reporting. Batch and paperless operated production environments, automated recipe management for supervisory systems. Web-based data reporting and trending, open data source connectivity, operational decision making.
