Subject CAD I focuses on techniques and tools of creation of 3D models of parts and assemblies together with 2D mechanical drawings in the CAD/CAE system Creo. Creo is one of the CAD systems which are called “big CAD” (such as Catia, NX, SolidWorks). Creo is used in companies from various branches all over the world (Airbus, Boeing, Toyota, Harley-Davidson, Caterpillar, John Deer, ABB, Rexroth, Pfizer, Samsung, Dell etc.).

Subject syllabus:

1) Základní filozofie 3D modelování. Tvorba základních typů modelů. Protažení,rotování, plný objem, 2) Tvorba základních typů modelů. Tvorba děr. 4)Další typy modelů, tenkostěnný model. Sweep, blend, kopírování konstrukčních prvků. Zrcadlení, pole. 3) Tvorba pomocných prvků. Plocha, osa, bod, souřadný systém. 4)Pokročilé techniky tvorby modelu. Tvorba modelů pružin, skicování křivek. 5)Definování relací v modelu, nástroj „Family table“. 6)Příprava modelu pro vytváření sestavy. Typy vazeb pro umístění součástí do sestav. Předefinování umístění součásti v sestavě. 7) Modifikace v sestavě, změna rozměrů součástí rotace a posuv součásti.Kopírování součásti. Relace v sestavách. Tvorba řezů v sestavě. Modifikace řezů v sestavě. 8) Tvorba výkresů součástí a sestav. 9) Tvorba mechanismů v sestavách.
