The goal of this subject is to acquaint students with problems devoloping and acquating of Control systems based on Industrial PC into mechatronics area.

Subject syllabus:

Introduction, properties of the IPC and PLC, classification Control system Linking with binary I/O Control system Linking with analog I/O Concept and design of Control system, sensors Connecting binary and analog I/O, optoisolation, Design of control system - task. Safety and diagnostics of control sÿstem. Safety methods. Communication in contzro systems for industry. kits for remote and distributed data acquisition. SCADA SW Demonstration of real ciontrol systems. Design of control system - Evaluation.
