Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction, specialities of the control systems suitable for application in mobile robots area, architecture and properties of microcontrolers - part 1. 2. Architecture and properties of microcontrolers - part 1, registers and interrupt subsystem, timers. 3. BASCOM 8051 and KEIL development environment. 4. Input/output connecting -analopgue, binary, optoisolation, connecting on motion subsystem. 5. Sensoric subsystem and its resources. 6. Design of control system - task. 7. Implementation WDT in control system. 8. Communication with intelligent sensors for cignitive mobile robots, I2C bus. 9. Timer programming, communication in control systems based on microcontrolers. Protocols, working with libraries - parallel task running. 10. Resources for communication with upper control level. Practical demonstration. 12. Special HW and SW resources for AI implementation to mobile robots - part I. 13. Design of control system - evaluation. 14. Credit.
