Summary
There is a growing interest in the new Soft Robotics industry. This part of robotics deals with the construction of robots and their components made of soft and flexible materials. By replacing solid parts with soft ones, robots acquire new features such as the ability to adapt to the environment or manipulate objects of complicated shapes with effectors with soft grips. Students will become familiar with this area and its individual parts.
