Existing application areas of service robots. Orientation in the current legislation. Knowledge of subsystems and used technical tools of service robots for existing application areas.

Students will learn about current trends and areas of application of service robots, their subsystems and used technical means in this area.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1) Basic concepts and state of legislation in the field of service robotics. 2) Applicable standards for mobile robots. 3) Service robots (SR) for inter-operational transport and logistics - application examples. 4) Service robots (SR) for inter-operational transport and logistics - application examples. 5) SR for inter-operational transport and logistics - SW tools for fleet management. 6) SR for Integrated Rescue System. 7) SR for military and police applications. 8) SR for reconnaissance and monitoring. 9) SR for agriculture. 10) SR for household applications. 11) SR robots in medicine. 12) Other application areas of robots. 13) Modularity in service robotics. 14) AI application. Internet of Things. Seminars: 1) Assignment of individual searches. Objectives and evaluation criteria of searches. 2-6) Work on the search. Consultation. 7) Test 1. Consultation. 8-12) Work on the search. Consultation. 13) Test 2. Preparation of presentation of search results. 14) Presentation of the main research outputs. Credit.
