Summary

Robotized and automated workplaces consist not only of industrial robots and manipulators, but also of many other devices. The most commonly used are conveyors, positioners, input and output containers, measuring and control equipment, etc. By suitable design of these devices it is possible to significantly influence the resulting function of robotized and automated workplaces. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with these devices, their properties and parameters important from the perspective of production equipment. They will also be acquainted with design procedures of selected peripheral devices. The graduate of the course will acquire the ability to select suitable peripheral devices, or the ability to design their own peripheral devices.
