Analyze of requirements an visual subsystem of robotised work-cell, visual subsystem design, basic image operations, their evaluation.

Summary

The subject acqaiure students with structure and principe of visual subsystem of robot (industrial, collaborative and service). The parts of this system -HW and SW are described, including of the typical applications.

Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction, Matlab and Image Processing Toolbox. 2. Image sensors, camera interfaces. 3. basic of projective geometry. 4. basic image analysis. Hiostogram, Noise reduction. 5. Fourier transformation, image compression. 6. Image Reconstruction. 7. Edge detection, lines detection - Hough transformation. 8.-9. Neural nets. 10. Stereovision. 11. Smart cameras 12. Smart cameras - industrial application. 13. Image/objects attributes. 14. Credit.
