Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge in the area of progressive design and construction procedures with computer support. In the first part, it is the use of Behavioral Modeling technology, i.e. creating parts and assemblies under conditions where are predefined the required final properties of the part or assembly (e.g. position of the center of gravity, surface, volume, working space, etc.). In the second part of the course, students will acquire knowledge in the area of shape and dimensional optimization of components and assemblies in terms of stress forces (reactions) and structural analysis (stress, deformation). In the third part, students will acquire basic knowledge of computer support resources in the area of simultaneous construction of multiple individuals and teams. At the end, students will be acquainted with the possibility of interconnecting the CAD system with third-party software products.

Summary
This course is a continuation of CAD I and CAD II courses. Its purpose is to acquaint the student with other, more advanced options of the selected CAD system. Teaching will focus on the possibilities for optimization of parts and assemblies both in terms of their dimensions, weight, center of gravity and the like, and in terms of ability to withstand the specified load. Also the possibilities of interconnection of CAD system with third-party software products will be outlined.
