Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to gain knowledge in advanced methods of computer aided mechanical design, based on the so-called "Modeling the behavior mechanisms" (Behavioral Modeling). This principle provides the tools to create models based on pre-defined target functions. As the objective function can serve as an analysis of the resulting dimensions, weight parameters, the parameters of curves and surfaces, and the relationships between them and the results of the analysis of movement. Properties from the model analysis thus allow only model to quantify, but these results are entered as the target behavior.

Předmět je zaměřen do oblasti pokročilých metod počítačové podpory návrhu strojních zařízení, založenými na tzv. „Modelování chování mechanismů“ (Behavioral Modeling).Tento princip poskytuje nástroje k vytváření modelů na základě předem daných cílových funkcí. Jako cílové funkce mohou sloužit analýzy jako jsou výsledné rozměry, hmotnostní parametry, parametry křivek a povrchů a vztahy mezi nimi a také výsledky analýzy pohybu. Vlastnosti získané na základě analýz modelu tedy umožňují nejen model kvantifikovat, ale zadat tyto výsledky jako cílové chování.

Subject syllabus:

1. Main principles of mechanisms behavior modeling. 2. Analysis of geometric parameters of a model. 3. Analysis of the model mass parameters. 4. Analysis of the model curves and surfaces. 5. Model motion analysis. 6. Utilization of relations between parameters. 7. Sensitivity analysis and model optimization.
