Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will intimately learn about types of heat transfer - conduction, convection and radiation. Students will get knowledge about properties of fuels, combustion statics, types of combustion facilities and pollutants which are produced by combustion. This knowledge is essential for the basic energy calculations and can be applied in other mechanical engineering lessons and branches.
