Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject deals with measuring methods of basic physical quantities used in energetics. Measuring of temperatures, pressures, flow and analysis of gas factors of combustion gases. For education there are used measurement instruments and eguipment of energy department used in technical practice.

Teaching methods

Other activities

Measuring temperature, pressure, flow and analysis of gaseous components of flue gases. For teaching the use measuring instruments and equipment department of energy used in engineering practice. During lectures and seminars, students are introduced to the operation of instruments and learn the basics of proper application of measuring instruments. The course is excursion to energy facilities in the Ostrava region, usually Detmarovice Power.
