Subject syllabus:
Physical principles of nuclear energy, radioactive decay, neutron nuclear reactions, the balance of neutrons in a nuclear reactor reaktoru.Physical calculation, neutron diffusion, the critical equation of a nuclear reactor neutron flow.Creation of heat in a nuclear reactor, heat flow distribution, temperature field in the course of the fuel element zone.Regulation of nuclear reactor, reactor poisoning, iodine pit. Types of nuclear energy, light water, heavy water, high-speed and gas cooled.Nuclear cycle , fuels and fuel cells, production, storage and disposal of nuclear waste.
