Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course provides basic introduction to the technical and industrial
aesthetics, landscape aesthetics, basic principles of aesthetics and fine
arts. The examples of aesthetical solutions are illustrated by short
historical review of fine arts. The course is focused on industrial design,
technical aesthetics, and application of aesthetical rules in field – colour,
design of tools, machines and instruments, aesthetics of working environment.
In the field of landscape aesthetics is attention paid to the cultural
landscape formed by human activity.

1) Estetika, základní pojmy, estetická funkce, norma a hodnota.
2) Estetické parametry vzhledu.
3) Estetické parametry materiálu.
4) Přehled technik výtvarného umění.
5) Grafické techniky.
6) Přehled vývoje výtvarného umění ve světě a v českých zemích, 1. část.
7) Přehled vývoje výtvarného umění ve světě a v českých zemích, 2. část.
8) Technická estetika, člověk jako míra věcí.
9) Barva v designu.
10) Písmo v designu. Užitá grafika.
11) Design pracovních nástrojů, strojů a přístrojů.
12) Estetika pracovního prostředí.
13) Příroda jako zdroj estetických hodnot, estetika kulturní krajiny.
14) Estetika a funkce městského prostředí.
