Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This is a wide interdisciplinary subject oriented on practical work. It deals with using technical equipment for the environment. A system of sources comes in solving these problems-the fields of transfer- the subject (the person who observes the components of the environment). Technical provisions are oriented on - the machines and equipment which are used, from the point of view of their function in the environment, - repairing the environment state through technical means, - human protection through personal protection means.

Subject syllabus:

- Introduction. Course contents. Literature. Specifications current environmental issues. Basic concepts and relationships. Legislation. - Energy and Environment. Sources of energy. - Protection against air pollution by particulate pollutants. - Fans. Classification, function and structure, characteristics and regulation. - Basics of the internal environment - ventilation, air conditioning, heating - Noise. Basic concepts and relationships. The technical means to reduce noise. Measurement - Ionizing radiation. Types, units, biological effects, sources.
