Typy kotlů, parametry, rozdělení kotlů. Tepelná bilance. Vliv parametrů paliva a páry na koncepci kotle. Ohniště roštová, prášková, fluidní.Ohniště na plynná a kapalná paliva. Výparník kotle s přirozenou a nucenou cirkulací, řazení ploch, výpočet cirkulace, funkce bubnu, separace páry, návrh napáječky
