Speading of knowledge : - importance and requirements of energy for population - energy consumption in the world and in CR (actual, histiric trend and view for the future - manners and possibilities of energy needs supply in the world and in CR - characteristic parameters of various energy source

Summary

Students become familiar with basic knowledge considering energy significance for mankind, ways of gaining, utilization and transformation of various types of energy. The students will come by knowledge about the most utilized energy sources in present, about future possibilities and about consumption of energy sources in global and in the Czech republic.

Energy Transformation (Type, Efficiency of Transformation, Utilization) 4. Kind of Fossil Fuels, Parameters (Solid, Liquid, Gaseos), Sources and Utilization of Fossil Fuels in the World and in ČR 5. Fossil Fuels Quality Improvemed, Refinement 6. Combustion Equipment, Types of Boilers 7. Clean Coal Technologies (Efficiency Improvement, Steam-Gas Units, Supercritical Units, Pressurized Fluidized Bed Boilers) 8. Nuclear energy 9. Renewable and Nontraditional Energy 10.
