Student gain knowledge about basic aims of maintenance, methodologies of technical diagnostics, monitoring and evaluation of operating reliability in the branches of power engineering.

Maintenance - content , importance , optimization of costs, strategy of maintenance.Planning and management large reconstructions. Fundamentals of net analysis. Technical diagnostics, organization, measuring methods, evidence. Vibrodiagnostics, balancing of rotors. Acoustic and ultrasonic diagnostics. Basic of tribodiagnostics, IR diagnostics, tensometric methods, defectoscopy. Operating reliability, state of machines,failure classification, reliability characteristics.
