Learn of basic knowledge of water management in power engineering. Comprehension and practical realization of treatment water technologies for various utilization in energetics.

Summary

The subject deals with water treatment for energy purposes, its use in electricity production, consumption and necessary accumulation.

Subject syllabus:

1. Prologue, legislation, basic abstracts. 2. Basic informations of water, water sources. 3. Basic attributes of water, chemical structure and quality of water. 4. Basic treatment of sewage - basic description. 5. Basic treatment of sewage - sedimentation, filtration. 6. Equipments for mechanical and physical adjustments of water-part I. 7. Equipments for mechanical and physical adjustments of water-part I. 8. Water supplying of plants - losses, potable and operating water. 9. Measuring of water consumption, accumulation. 10. Operating water adjustment for energetics. 11. Cooling water adjustment, balance of cooling towers. 12. Feed water adjustment,ion substitutes. 13. Thermic feed water adjustment. 14. Educational excursion.
