To acquaint students with the general design methodology and application guidelines for constructing the field.

Summary

General design methodology and its application to practical problems in the construction of steam boilers and power facilities.

Subject syllabus:

1 Fundamentals of Design. 2nd Specifics of construction equipment in the field of energy (combined stress, pressure, heat stress, low cycle stress, corrosion, abrasion, živitnost). 3rd Materials for thermal power equipment. 4th Strength properties of materials, creep, and creep strength. 5th Fatigue, vysokocyklická and low cycle fatigue. 6th Corrosion of the main types kotoze, vrswtvy trade, improve corrosion resistance. 7th Heat resistant steels, heat treatment of steel. 8th Strength calculation of the main parts of a steam boiler. 9th Construction of the steam drum, steam separation, the drum size. 10th Surface heat exchangers, equipment requirements, search options, selecting the optimal variant design. 11th The injection of steam condenser, possibly execution, analysis functions, possible solutions, the optimal variant prokonstruování. 12th Steam mezipřehřívák, biflux, triflux, requirements for equipment, searching for alternatives, the optimal choice, design. 13th Equipment for the preparation of powdered coal and burn it. Hip grinding circuit, the type and number of mills, the type and number of burners, and the choice of optical variations. 14th Graded credit. Exercise: 1-2. Calculation of the steam drum. 3 to 4 Design and calculation of the injection of steam condenser. 5 to 6 Design and calculation of surface cooler 7 to 8 Mill proposal, the choice of burners. 9 to 10 Proposal for preheating combustion air. 11 to 12 Diagram of the boiler water and steam. 13 to 14 Scheme of boiler on the air and fuel gas.
