The course continues on the subject "Refrigeration systems and heat pumps" of the Bachelor study program. Student extend knowledge in branch of refrigeration technique and heat pump utilization. It professes next types of refrigeration cycles and basic constructional elements of refrigeration equipment and heat pumps.

1. Other types of compressor refrigeration cycles – ejector, variants of two-stage cycles 2. Sorption cycles – absorption NH3-H2O, H2O-LiBr, adsorption cycles 3. Gas refrigeration cycles 4. Air liquefaction, rectification 5. Basic mechanical components of refrigeration equipment and heat pump 6. Oxygen plants, high, middle and low pressure types 7. Heat pumps, connecting to space heating system, assessment of heat pump - auxiliary energy source energy balance 8. Evaluation of the effectiveness of basic types of heat pumps – energy, exergy and macroenergetic
