Students obtain basic information on construction, calculation and operation power machines, including basic of energy economy and influence running these machines on environment.

Summary

The subject is one of field subjects that link-up to subjects of thermomechanics, physics, and hydromechanics. Students are made acquainted with basics concerning energy transformation by compressors, pumps, turbines, and combustion equipments. Lectures are completed by laboratory practical measurement.

1. Basic law ideal gas, formula of state, I. and II. law of thermodynamic, state changes, heat trahsfer, heat exchangers, combustion, 2. Energy and human activity. Kinds of energy, manners of conversions. 3. Positive displaced compressors, bases theory, service characteristics 4. Turbo compressors, bases theory, service characteristics. Compression process station 5. Production and divorces technical gases and compressed air. Usage of compressed air 6. Positive displaced pump, bases theory, service characteristics. Dynamic pumps, bases theory, service characteristics. Pump station, divorces liquids. 7. Combustion arrangement and heat exchangers. Disposition, efficiency, service characteristics. 8. Steam boilers, produce and using of steam 9. Gas industry. Sources and transformation of energy fuel gas. Divorces and usage 10. Combustion engine. Bases of theory. Theoretic cycles. Construction, using, service characteristics, regulation, economy of running. 11. Thermal turbine, bases of theory. Using and economy of running. 12. Power central, power station and heat station with steam and combustion turbines, combined heat and power troop with piston combustion engine and heating plants. 13. Bases of power economy, refinement energy, divorce and usage on place consumption. Management single sorts of energy. 14. Husbandry with single sorts of energy, power balance and power characteristics, specification consumption energy. 15. Influence operation power installation to environment. Emission of pollutants, noise and their reducing.
