Obtain basic skills usable in the field of power engineering in applications Excel (including Visual Basic for Applications), Engineering Equation Solver, ANSYS CFX.

Basic skills in application EXCEL usable in power engineering: 1. Curve fitting, regresion and custom functions of water-steam properties 2. Creation of custom function 3. Searching in database 4. Macros (Steady-state heat transfer) Basic skills in application EES usable in power engineering: 1. Determination of substance properties 2. Creation of property plots 3. Balance calculations of cycles 4. Calculations of RC cycle Basic skills in application ANSYS CFX usable in power engineering: 1. Theory of heat and mass transfer in ANSYS CFX 2. Using of pre-procesor 3. Setting-up the solver 4. Evaluation of results in post-procesor 5. Flow model 6. Flow model including heat transfer and solid particles

In Excel: 1. User writen functions for properties of water and steam 2. Creating of custom functions 3. Searching the database 4. Making of macros (Steady-state heat transfer) In EES: 1. Determination of the fundamental properties of substances 2. Creating of property plots 3. Balance calculations of cycles 4. Calculation of the RC cycles In ANSYS CFX: 1. The theory of heat and mass transfer in ANSYS CFX 2. Using of pre-processor 3. Using of solver 4. Evaluation of results in the post-processor 5. Flow model 6. Flow model including heat transfer and solid particles
