Preparation of specialists in the field of thermal calculations, design and construction of nuclear power plant equipment. Students acquire detailed knowledge of the primary circuit of nuclear power plants, learn about the various components of different types of nuclear power facilities, allowing them to design and construction of the diploma work

Preparation of specialists in the field of thermal calculations, design and construction of nuclear power plant equipment. The course builds on mastered the material in "nuclear energy" in the BC study, termomechniku and heat and mass transfer. Students acquire detailed knowledge of the primary circuit of nuclear power plants, learn about the various components of different types of nuclear power facilities, allowing them to design and construction of the diploma work

Subject syllabus:
Pressure vessels, development and construction. Secondary circuit of nuclear power plants
Technological lines, cleaning coolants, reactor cooling emergency.
Increasing energy efficiency and steam cycles. Regeneration, reheating, optimization of parameters oběhů.Metodika calculating the heat chart. Condensing flow of regeneration by preheating, heat circulation. Detailed calculation of the structural elements of thermal scheme, numerical solution. Regenerative feedwater heating, control and start-up. Low and high pressure heaters, construction. Supply tank. Steam generators in nuclear power plants, construction of vertical and ležatých PG, calculate the main dimensions, the dynamic properties.
