Students obtain basic information on construction, calculation and operation power machines, including basic of energy economy and influence running these machines on environment.

Summary

The subject is one of field subjects that link-up to subjects of thermomechanics, physics, and hydromechanics. Students are made acquainted with basics concerning energy transformation by compressors, pumps, turbines, and combustion equipments.

1. Basic law ideal gas, formula of state, I. and II. law of thermodynamic, state changes, heat trahsfer, heat exchangers, combustion, 2. Energy and peoples' activity, kinds of energy, manners of conversions. 3. Piston-type compressors. Bases of theory, service characteristics.Compressors with rotaring pistons, 4. Dynamic compressors. Bases of theory, service characteristics. Compressor station. Ventilators. 5. Distribution compressed air and technical gas. Utilization of compressed air. 6. Piston pumps. Bases of theory, service characteristics. 7. Dynamic pump. Bases of theory, service characteristics.Pump station, divorces fluids. 8. Gas industry. Sources and transformation of energy fuel gas. Distribution and usage. 9. Combustion installation and heat exchangers. Disposal, efficiencies, service characteristics. 10. Combustion engine. Bases of theory, service characteristics, using, regulation, economy of running. 11. Heat turbines. Bases of theory, service characteristics. Manners design. economy running. 12. Energy centrals. Total economy conversion of energy. Types of central, design. 13. Influence of operation energy arrangement on environment. Emission, immission, noise and their reducing. 14. Bases of energy economy. Energic characteristics. Minimization of consumption energy. Operations control, power control. Production costs on energy utilization, economic analyses.
