Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course is part of the discipline that deals with technology environment and includes the following:
Atmosphere - basic concepts, legislation, international conventions.
Cleaning the flue gases in industry. Reducing emissions of sulfur oxides.
Emissions of nitrogen oxides. Combined processes desulphurization and denitrification of flue gases.
Incineration of waste. Technological processes in climate protection.
Emission in transport.
Emissions industry. Mine ventilation, prevention and disposal of dust. Emission measurements.

Summary
The course includes theoretical foundation of environmental engineering used to create the optimal state of the environment. Interprets the function of typical elements of environmental conditions and characteristics required for construction and projection. Based on the requirements of the environmental characteristics and other factors affecting the design and operation of machinery , thermal, humidity and air cleanliness and also deals with acoustic and optical conditions of the working environment.
